Conversations for Caring

The Conversations program coordinates community education initiatives that include trainings for providers, both professional and volunteer, serving older persons, Veterans, persons living with disabilities of all ages, and their families. 


Training topics can range from The Effects of Climate Change and Mental Health, to Borderline Personality Disorder and Why We Worry and What to Do About It. Trainings are offered by area service providers as well as the faculty of regional colleges and universities. The program also offers Social Work, Nursing, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) continuing education credits.
