A Little About Us

Greater Lynn Senior Services provides a wide range of social services—information, transportation, meals, advocacy, homecare, housing, and more—for one reason: to help those 60 and older in Lynn, Lynnfield, Nahant, Saugus and Swampscott live fuller, more independent lives, safely and with dignity.

For close to 30 years, we’ve been helping people get the services they need, and we’re here to help you, too.

If you or someone in your family is 60 or older or an adult with a disability, we make it easy for you to get exactly the services you’re looking for. All it takes is a phone call.

Cummings Foundation

Each year, Cummings Foundation awards grants of $100,000 each to 100 local nonprofits. This $10 million in funding supports a diverse range of causes, including human services, education, healthcare, and social justice. While some of these grants are made as single-year awards, most are multi-year awards, with payments spread over two to 10 years.

Greater Lynn Senior Services is proud to announce that they are a recipient of one of the awards.

According to Paul Crowley, “we are greatly pleased that the grant will support the expansion of GLSS’ Elder Mobile Mental Health Program (EMMH), to several North Shore communities.  The EMMH program delivers a range of critical mental health services to vulnerable elders and integrates them into the home environment.  In the past seven years GLSS has helped over 300 consumers improve the quality of their lives through the EMMH program."
