GLSS employs 480 people—social workers, nurses, administrative staff, drivers, and others—and uses 100 volunteers to support its many programs and services. Our mission is simple: Join us in helping seniors and those with disabilities live fuller, more independent lives, with dignity.

If you like helping people—especially seniors—you might consider donating a few hours of time each week or each month to one of our programs—such as Money Management, Long-term Care Ombudsman, or at a Community Café—or offering assistance on an as-needed basis in our offices or at special events.
